Abstract Objective To explore the clinical effect of Prunella Granules combined with Methylprednisolone in the treatment of non-lactation mastitis. Methods Forty patients with non-lactation mastitis from May 2018 to January 2021 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into control group and treatment group by random number table method, with 20 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Methylprednisolone Tablets alone, and the treatment group was treated with Methylprednisolone Tablets plus Prunella Granules. The total response rate, recurrence rate, incidence of adverse reactions, C-reactive protein (CRP), interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-8 (IL-8),tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), immunoglobulin A (IgA), immunoglobulin G (IgG), immunoglobulin M (IgM), CD4+/CD8+ levels before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The curative effect of patients in the treatment group was better than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The recurrence rate (0%) in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group (25.00%), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group (0%) was lower than that in the control group (20.00%), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, the expression levels of CRP, IL-6, IL-8, and TNF-α in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the levels of CRP, IL-6, IL-8, and TNF-α in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of IgA, IgG, IgM, CD4+/CD8+ in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment of non-lactation mastitis patients with Prunella Granules combined with Methylprednisolone can achieve significant effect, reduce inflammatory reaction, improve immune function, control clinical symptoms, it is worth popularizing.
