Effect of different staining methods of Trypan Blue on phacoemulsification of cataract |

Abstract Objective To investigate the application effect of different staining methods of Trypan Blue during and after phacoemulsification of cataract.Methods From March 2017 to October 2019,60 patients (60 eyes) with total cataract admitted to the First Hospital of Nanping City in Fujian Province were selected as the research objects,and they were divided into group A (20 cases) and group B (20 cases) and group C (20 cases) according to the random lottery method.Group A used direct staining method,group B used bubble staining method,and group C used viscoelastic staining method.The anterior capsule staining of the three groups was observed,and the success rate of continuous curvilineal capsulorrhexis (CCC),posterior lens capsule rupture,corneal edema,visual acuity and corneal endothelial counts before and after surgery were compared in the three groups.Results There were no significant differences in the staining of the anterior capsule,the success rate of CCC,the rupture of the posterior capsule,the postoperative visual acuity,corneal edema,and postoperative corneal endothelial counts among the three groups (P>0.05).The corneal endothelial counts in the three groups after surgery were lower than those before surgery,and the visual acuity was higher than that before surgery,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The three staining methods of Trypan Blue have no obvious difference during and after surgery,while the direct staining method is simple to operate and has obvious effect,which is worthy of promotion.
