Abstract  Objective To explore the clinical effect of applying time management combined with node control nursing management in high altitude medical centers. Methods A total of 160 inpatients in Naqu People′s Hospital from April 2019 to April 2020 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into the observation group and the control group by random number table method, with 80 cases in each group. The nurses without cross-over during the same period were divided into the observation group and the control group, with 37 cases in each group. In the observation group, time management combined with node control nursing management was used, while in the control group, routine care was used. The incidence of nursing adverse events, satisfaction rate of the patients, time management tendency scale score and Maslach Burnout Inventory (Human Services Survey) score of nursing staff in the two groups were compared. Results The total incidence of adverse nursing events in the observation group (1.25%) was lower than that in the control group (11.25%), and the patient satisfaction rate (95.00%) was higher than that in the control group (71.25%), the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The scores of goal setting, time arrangement, time control and disorder tendency in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The scores of emotional exhaustion and depersonalization in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the score of personal accomplishment was higher than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Time management combined with node control nursing management applied to high altitude medical centers has remarkable clinical effect. It can effectively improve the time management tendency and job burnout of nursing staff, increase patient satisfaction, and reduce nursing adverse events, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
