Application effect of hook-type electrocardiogram cart in the management of chest pain time |

Abstract Objective To investigate the application effect of hook-type electrocardiogram cart in the management of chest pain time. Methods The clinical data of 120 patients with chest pain who were admitted to our hospital from June to December 2019 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients were divided into two groups according to different types of electrocardiogram cart, control group (n=60, ordinary electrocardiogram cart during emergency nursing) and observation group (n=60, hook-type electrocardiogram cart during emergency nursing). The emergency time after admission, the incidence of major adverse cardiovascular events during hospitalization and satisfaction of family members were compared between two groups. Results The first electrocardiogram time, analysis time of chest pain causes, start time of emergency and hospital stays in observation group were shorter than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant (t=32.233, 10.068, 7.770, 12.110, P=0.000). The total incidence of major adverse cardiovascular events during hospitalization in observation group was lower than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant (χ2=4.227, P=0.040). The total satisfaction of family members in observation group was higher than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant (χ2=6.171, P=0.013). Conclusion Hook-type electrocardiogram cart for patients with chest pain can shorten the first electrocardiogram time after admission, analysis time of chest pain causes, start time of emergency and hospital stays, timely provide diagnosis and treatment for the patients, reduce prognostic risks, and improve satisfaction of family members, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
