易罐疗法配合盆灸治疗老年性便秘患者的临床效果

Abstract Objective To explore the clinical effect of Yiguan therapy combined with pelvic moxibustion in the treatment of elderly constipation patients. Methods A total of 60 patients with elderly constipation admitted to our hospital from October 2018 to October 2019 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into group A, group B and group C according to the random number table method, with 20 cases in each group. Group A was treated with conventional Western medicine, group B was treated with pelvic moxibustion, and group C was combined with Yiguan therapy on the basis of group B. The scores of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) symptoms (gastric fullness, loss of appetite, fatigue and weakness), quality of life (patient assessment of constipation quality of life [PAC-QOL]), defecation function (constipation score scale [CCS]), stool traits (Bristol stool score scale) and stool frequency within 1 week were compared between the two groups before treatment and after 3 d of treatment. Results After 3 d of treatment, the scores of TCM symptoms in gastric fullness, loss of appetite and fatigue and weakness, scores of PAC-QOL and CCS in the three groups were lower than those before treatment, with statistically significant differences (P＜0.05). The scores of TCM symptoms and scores of PAC-QOL and CCS after 3 d of treatment in group B and group C were lower than those in group A, with statistically significant differences (P＜0.05). The scores of TCM symptoms and scores of PAC-QOL and CCS after 3 d of treatment in group C were lower than those in group B, with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05). The Bristol score and stool frequency within 1 week in the three groups after 3 d of treatment were higher than those before treatment, with statistically significant differences (P＜0.05). The Bristol score and stool frequency within 1 week in group B and group C after 3 d of treatment were lower than those in the group A, with statistically significant differences (P＜0.05). The Bristol score and stool frequency within 1 week in group C were higher than those in the group B, with statistically significant differences (P＜0.05). Conclusion Yiguan therapy combined with pelvic moxibustion can achieve significant effect in treating elderly constipation, alleviate the disease symptoms of patients, improve the defecation function, and promote the quality of life, traits and frequency of defecation of patients.
