| Feasibility study of comprehensive nursing service for children with infectious diarrhea |

Abstract Objective To explore the feasibility and value of comprehensive nursing services for children with infectious diarrhea. Methods A total of 100 children with infectious diarrhea who were admitted to our hospital from January 2018 to June 2019 were enrolled in the study. They were divided into the control group and the study group according to the random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. In the control group, conventional nursing was used, and in the study group, comprehensive nursing service was adopted. The total effective rate of nursing in the two groups was observed, the fever time, diarrhea time and hospital stay of children were recorded, and the nursing satisfaction of the children and their parents to clinical nursing was evaluated. Results The total effectiveness rate of nursing in the study group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). The fever time, diarrhea time, and hospital stay in the study group were shorter than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05). The nursing satisfaction of children and parents in the study group was higher than that in the control group, with statistical significance (P＜0.05). Conclusion Comprehensive nursing can significantly improve the nursing effect of children with infectious diarrhea, shorten the time of fever, diarrhea and hospital stay, and promote the early recovery of children′s health, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
