| Clinical effect of Chuanbai Zhiyang Lotion in the adjuvant treatment of vulvovaginitis in children |

Abstract Objective To investigate the effect of adjuvant treatment with Chuanbai Zhiyang lotion in children with vulvovaginitis.Methods A total of 100 children with vulvovaginitis diagnosed and treated in Jiangxi Provincial Children′s Hospital from June to November 2021 were selected as research subjects,the patients were divided into the control group and the observation group according to random number table method,with 50 children in each group.The control group was treated with routine regimen,and the observation group was treated with Chuanbai Zhiyang Lotion on the basis of the control group.The clinical effects,the incidence of adverse drug reactions,medication adherence scores,the improvement time of clinical symptoms (pain,itching,purulent discharge) were compared between the two groups.Results The clinical total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse drug reactions between the two groups (P＞0.05).The score of medication compliance in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).The improvement time of pain,pruritus and purulent secretion in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of vulvovaginitis in children,the combination of Chuanbai Zhiyang Lotion can improve the treatment efficacy,with a rapid onset of action,and children′s medication adherence and safety are high,which is worth promoting.
