Influence of peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis in the treatment of endstage renal disease on natural killer cells and T cell subsets |

Abstract Objective To explore and analyze the influence of peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis in the treatment of end-stage renal disease on natural killer cells and T cell subsets.Methods A total of 120 patients with end-stage renal disease admitted to Xincheng Hospital of Liaoyang City Central Hospital of Liaoning Province from January 2019 to January 2021 were selected as the study objects,and they were divided into the peritoneal dialysis group and the hemodialysis group by random number table methods,60 cases in each group.The peritoneal dialysis group was given peritoneal dialysis,the hemodialysis group was given hemodialysis.The changes of the levels of natural killer cells(NK cell ratio,NK cell activity)and T cell subsets(CD3+,CD4+,CD8+,CD4/CD8)were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the ratio of NK cells and NK cell activity between the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the ratio of NK cells and NK cell activity after treatment in the peritoneal dialysis group were higher than those in the hemodialysis group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of CD3+,CD8+ of the two groups were higher than those before treatment,the levels of CD4+ and CD4/CD8 of the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the level of CD8+after treatment in the peritoneal dialysis group was higher than that before treatment,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of CD3+ after treatment in the peritoneal dialysis group was lower than that in the hemodialysis group,and the levels of CD4+,CD8+ and CD4/CD8 after treatment in the peritoneal dialysis group were higher than those in the hemodialysis group after treatment,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis in the treatment of end-stage renal disease can have a strong regulatory effect on natural killer cells and T cell subsets,and have less impact on cellular immune function.The effect of the former is more prominent than that of the latter.
