Analysis and countermeasures of teaching problems in pharmaceutical engineering |

Abstract Pharmaceutical engineering is an interdisciplinary subject covering chemistry, pharmacy and engineering. It plays an important role in the cultivation of talents in the pharmaceutical industry. In order to keep up with the demand of the development of the pharmaceutical industry for pharmaceutical engineering professionals, combined with the teaching practice of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Wuhan University in talent training over the years deeply analyzed the problems existing in the teaching contents, teaching methods and examination methods of pharmaceutical engineering courses. On this basis, the countermeasures are given from the aspects of renewing teaching plan, diversified teaching mode, opening up the "second classroom" and establishing a multi-dimensional evaluation system. "There is no end to learning, no end to teaching and no end to research". The school of pharmacy of Wuhan University should continue to explore diversified teaching and research methods, take teaching problems as the guidance, and promote the effective implementation of efficient classroom while promoting teachers′ professional growth through problem-based teaching design and experimental arrangement, so as to constantly find and solve problems in teaching, and actively meet the practical needs of the rapid development of medical science and technology for the teaching reform of pharmaceutical engineering course.
