Objective To explore the effect of high-quality nursing for patients with cerebral hemorrhage on their cognitive function and prognosis. Methods A total of 107 patients undergoing intracerebral hemorrhage surgery in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen Medical College from June 2017 to June 2020 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into control group (53 cases) and study group (54 cases) by random number table method.Patients in the control group took routine nursing, patients in the study group carried out high-quality nursing. The cognitive function and neurological function defects of the two groups were compared before and after intervention. The total incidence of complications was compared between the two groups. The quality of life before and after intervention was compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the mini-mental state examination (MMSE) score of patients in the study group was higher than that in the control group, the score of National Institutes of Health stroke scale (NIHSS) was lower than that of control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The total incidence of postoperative complications in study group (3.7%) was lower than that in control group (15.1%), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After intervention, short form 36-item health survey scores and total score of patients in the study group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05). Conclusion The effect of high-quality nursing for patients after cerebral hemorrhage is significant, which can improve their clinical symptoms and reduce the incidence of postoperative complications. It is recommended to be widely used.
