Abstract Objective To explore the application effect of divisional nursing combined with responsibility system nursing in outpatient nursing management. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical case data of 165 patients admitted to Outpatient Department of Putian Medical District, The 900th Hospital of Joint Logistics Support Force, between June 2018 and June 2019. According to time-sequence method, they were divided into pre-application group (86 cases) and post-application group (79 cases). The pre-application group was given routine outpatient nursing, while post-application group was given divisional nursing combined with responsibility system nursing on basis of pre-application group. The consultation time, scores of anxiety, depression and nursing satisfaction, and examination results of nursing quality control were compared between the two groups. Results The regional placement time, doctors′consultation time and waiting time for auxiliary examination in post-application group were shorter than those in preapplication group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After intervention, scores of anxiety and depression in hospital anxiety and depression scale (HADS) in post-application group were lower than those in pre-application group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). In nursing satisfaction questionnaire, scores of outpatient environment, nurse image, service awareness, service attitude, nursing operation, health education and reception process in post-application group were higher than those in pre-application group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). In post-application group, incidence rates of problems in level-Ⅰquality control examination, level-Ⅱquality control examination and level-Ⅲquality control examination were 10.33%, 6.50% and 3.28%, lower than those in pre-application group (19.89%, 15.97%, 15.00%), the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application effect of divisional nursing combined with responsibility system nursing is good in outpatient nursing management.
