| Application effect of traditional Chinese medicine nursing intervention in patients with type 2 diabetes |

Abstract Objective To analyze the application effect of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM)nursing intervention in patients with type 2 diabetes (T2DM).Methods A total of 98 patients with T2DM treated in our hospital from June 2018 to July 2019 were selected.They were divided into control group and observation group according to the evenodd method,49 cases in each group.The control group received routine clinical nursing,the observation group was given TCM nursing intervention on the basis of routine nursing.The application effect of the two groups was compared.Results After nursing,the blood glucose indexes in observation group such as fasting blood glucose (Glu),glycated hemoglobin(HbA1c),2 h postprandial blood glucose(2 h PBG)were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05);the quality of life such as treatment,physiological function,psychological/spiritual and social relationships was higher than that of the control group,and the scores of anxiety and depression were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The use of TCM nursing intervention in patients with T2DM can reduce patients′blood glucose levels,improve their quality of life,and improve their psychological status.The clinical application value is higher.
