Abstract Objective To understand the health status of community residents in Baise City, and to explore the application effect of medical micro-class in order to provide a reference for clinical intervention.Methods A total of 372 residents who lived in the community in Baise City from June 2018 to June 2019 were selected as the research subjects.From June to December 2018,routine health education in the community were conducted,and from January to June 2019,the medical micro-class intervention with the help of the community were implemented.The first questionnaire survey in December 2018 were conducted,and after half-year medical micro-class intervention,the second questionnaire survey in June 2019 were conducted. The awareness rates of resident health standard, health knowledge, targeted poverty alleviation policy and medical insurance policy before and after intervention were compared. Results According to the investigation, the overall health status of 372 residents in Baise City was good,of which 102 residents had chronic diseases,accounting for 27.42%. The chronic diseases were mainly hypertension and diabetes mellitus, respectively accounting for 44.12% and 32.35%. After intervention, the awareness rates of community health standards, health knowledge, targeted poverty alleviation policy and medical insurance policy in Baise City were higher than before with statistical significance (P<0.05).Conclusion The overall health status of residents in Baise City is good. The implementation of medical micro-class intervention can improve the awareness rates of residents′ health standards, health knowledge, targeted poverty alleviation policy, and medical insurance policy. It obtains a satisfactory application effect and deserves further promotion.
