| Application effect of new high-quality nursing in orthognathic surgery combined with orthodontics for treatment of maxillofacial deformities |

Abstract Objective To explore the application effect of new high-quality nursing in orthodontic surgery combined with orthodontics for treatment of maxillofacial deformities. Methods A total of 80 patients with dentofacial deformity admitted to our hospital from August 2018 to August 2019 were selected as research objects. All patients were divided into control group(n=40)and research group(n=40) according to odd even grouping mode. The patients in the control group were treated with routine nursing intervention and the patients in the research group were treated with new high-quality nursing intervention on the basis of the control group. The waiting time, hospitalization time and thread removal time of the two groups were compared, the recovery effect of the two groups after nursing intervention was evaluated, and the postoperative complications was obeserved. Results The waiting time, hospitalization time and suture removal time in the research group were shorter than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).The total effective rate of patients in the research group was 97.50%, which was higher than that in the control group(80.00%), the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). The total incidence of complications in the research group was 5.00%, which was lower than that in the control group(20.00%),the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion The application of the new high quality nursing service in the orthodontic treatment of patients with dentofacial deformity has a significant effect. It can shorten the waiting time before operation, speed up the time of line removal after operation, shorten the time of hospitalization, and reduce the total incidence of complications. Therefore,it is worthy of study and promotion in clinical.
