Abstract Objective To study and analyze the construction and application effect of the monitoring platform for pharmaceutical management in medical institutions. Methods A total of 150 cases of patients before the implementation of the drug management monitoring platform from April to October 2017 were taken as the control group, and 150 patients after the implementation of the drug management monitoring platform from September 2018 to March 2019 were taken as the observation group. The drug management, irrational drug use and patient satisfaction of the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results In the drug management of the two groups, the observation group was better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of irrational drug used in the observation group (3.33%) was lower than that in the control group (11.33%), and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). The satisfaction rate of the observation group (98.67%) was higher than that in the control group (92.67%),and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After the comprehensive implementation of the drug management monitoring platform, the average pneumonia of patients in hospital was significantly reduced, the use intensity of antibacterial drugs was reduced, and the monthly single dose dosage was significantly increased. Conclusion The construction and application of the drug management monitoring platform can improve the overall drug management level of the hospital, reduce the occurrence of unreasonable drug use, and increase the satisfaction of patients.
