Abstract Objective To explore the effect of dual-heart nursing combined with relaxation training in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF). Methods A total of 70 CHF patients admitted to Pingxiang People′s Hospital from June 2019 to June 2021 were selected as the research objects, they were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method, with 35 cases in each group. The control group took routine intervention, and the observation group took double-heart nursing combined with relaxation training on the basis of routine intervention for 1 week. The anxiety, depression, quality of life, readmission rate, complications and total nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results There were no statistically significances between the two groups in the scores of 36-item short form health survey (SF-36) before intervention (P>0.05). The SF-36 score of the observation group after intervention was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). There were no statistically significances in the scores of the self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and the selfrating depression scale (SDS) between two groups before intervention (P>0.05). The SAS and SDS of the observation group after intervention were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The readmission rate and total complication rate of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The total nursing satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Double-heart nursing combined with relaxation training can reduce anxiety and depression in CHF patients, improve the quality of life, reduce rehospitalization and complications, and improve the prognosis of patients and increase nursing satisfaction.
