Objective To explore the application of Shenglong Jiegu Capsules in the healing of middle-aged and elderly distal radius fractures. Methods A total of 60 middle-aged and elderly patients with distal radius fractures over the age of 50 who were treated in our hospital from June 2018 to November 2019 were selected as the research objects.They were divided into three groups by random number table method, 20 cases in each group. Group A was given manual reduction and splint fixation, group B was orally administered with Xianling Gubao Capsules on the basis of treatment in group A, group C was orally administered with Shenglong Jiegu Capsules on the basis of treatment in group A.The clinical efficacy, fracture healing and wrist function of the three groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of clinical treatment in group C was higher than that in group A and group B, and the fracture healing time was shorter than that in group A and group B, the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05). After 6 and 12 weeks of treatment, the total scores of the three groups of patient-rated wrist evaluation (PRWE) were lower than those in this group before treatment, and the total score of the PRWE in group C was lower than that in group A and group B, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Shenglong Jiegu Capsules can improve the clinical efficacy of middle-aged and elderly distal radius fractures, shorten the fracture healing time, and promote the recovery of wrist joint function.
