| Application effect of thermal insulation care in patients with general anesthesia |

Abstract Objective To explore the application effect of thermal insulation care in patients with general anesthesia.Methods Eighty-eight patients who accepted general anesthesia during surgery in Shunde Hospital of Southern Medical University from June 2019 to June 2021 were selected as the research subjects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into a control group with 44 cases and an observation group with 44 cases. Patients in the control group took routine nursing care, and in the observation group, heat preservation nursing was added on the basis of the control group. The levels of stress response, postoperative resuscitation, occurrence of hypothermia, chills, and agitation, and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in preoperative stress response between the two groups (P>0.05). The levels of C-reactive protein (CRP), adrenal hormone (AD), and norepinephrine (NE) in the two groups after surgery were higher than those before surgery, and those indexes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The tracheal extubation time, fully awaking time, and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) retention time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of hypothermia, chills, and agitation in the observation group were 4.55% 4.55%, and 6.82%,which were all lower than those in the control group, 18.18%, 20.45% and 22.73%, respectively with statistical significance (P<0.05). The total nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 95.45%, higher than that of the control group accounting for 81.82%, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Heat preservation nursing can reduce the stress response during the operation of general anesthesia patients, shorten the anesthesia recovery period, promote the anesthesia recovery, reduce the incidence of hypothermia and chills, and increase nursing satisfaction.
