Abstract Objective To explore the application effect of comprehensive nursing in patients with acute angle-closure glaucoma.Methods A retrospective analysis of 76 patients with acute angle-closure glauco ma treated in our hospital from October 2018 to September 2019 was made.They were divided into control group (n=38) and observation group(n=38) according to different nursing methods.The control group used conventional nursing methods, and the observation group adopted comprehensive nursing methods.Nursing total satisfaction, postoperative eye recovery and mental status scores between the two groups were compared.Results After the nursing intervention, the total satisfa ction of the patients in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The visual acuity levels of the two groups after nursing were higher than those before nursing, and the anterior chamber depth and intraocular pressure were low er than those before nursing.The differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The vision level of the patients in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the anterior chamber depth and intraocular pressure were lower than those in the control group.The difference was stati stically significant (P<0.05).The anxiety and depression score of the two groups after nursing were lower than those before nursing, the anxiety and de pression score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Patie nts with acute angle-closure glaucoma receiving comprehensive nursing intervention can improve patients′ vision level, reduce anterior chamber depth and intraocular pressure, improve mental state, and have higher quality of nursing.
