Objective To investigate the application effect of combination of Saglitine and Insulin in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods The clinical data of 120 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus admitted to our hospital from January 2017 to January 2019 were analyzed retrospectively, The patients were divided into the reference group (n=60) and the study group (n=60) according to different medication methods.The control group was treated with Insulin, while the study group was treated with Insulin combined with Saxagliptin.The blood glucose control, treatment effect and blood glucose reaching standard time were compared between the two groups.Results The levels of HbA1c,FBG and 2h PG in the study group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).The total effective rate of the study group was 96.67%, which was higher than 83.33% of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).The dosage of Insulin in the study group was less than that in the control group, and the time of blood glucose reaching the standard in the study group was shorter than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).After treatment, the body mass index of the study group was lower than that of the control group, and the mean amplitude of glycemic excursion (MAGE), number of glycemic excursion (NGE), hyperglycemia of area under curve (AUC) and mean of daily differences (MODD) in the study group were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion The combination of Saxagliptin and Insulin can effectively control the blood glucose level of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, with significant clinical effect, and can reduce the dosage of insulin, shorten the time of blood glucose reaching the standard, with significant clinical value.
