| Influence of "Fuzheng Butu" acupuncture combined with Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction on intracranial hemodynamics, lower limb muscle strength and balance in patients with hemiplegia due to cerebral infarction |

Abstract Objective To investigate the influence of "Fuzheng Butu" acupuncture combined with Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction on intracranial hemodynamics, lower extremity muscle strength and balance in patients with hemiplegia due to cerebral infarction.Methods The clinical data of 89 patients with cerebral infarction hemiplegia admitted to Jiahe Hospital of Liaoning Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2018 to December 2019 were retrospectively collected,and they were divided into the control group (n=43) and the experimental group (n=46) according to different treatment methods.Both groups were given routine rehabilitation training, and the control group was given "Fuzheng Butu"acupuncture method, the experimental group was treatment with Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction on the base of the control group.Both groups were treated for 14 days for 1 course.After 2 courses of treatment, the intracranial hemodynamics and lower limb muscle strength and balance were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment, the peak systolic blood flow velocity (Vs), end-diastolic blood flow velocity (Vd), and average blood flow velocity (Vm) in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).After treatment, the lower limb muscle strength of the experimental group was better than that of the control group, and the Berg balance scale (BBS) score in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion "Fuzheng Butu" cooperation with acupuncture in the treatment of patients with hemiplegia due to cerebral infarction can improve cerebral hemodynamics, improve lower extremity muscle strength and balance function.
