卵巢甲状腺肿类癌的临床病理特征分析

Abstract Objective To explore the clinicopathological characteristics of strumal carcinoid of the ovary.Methods Five cases strumal carcinoid of the ovary in Fujian Maternity and Child Health Hospital from September 2010 to September 2020 were selected, and the diagnosis and treatment process, pathological characteristics and Immunophenotype were analyzed retrospectively． The literatures were reviewed.Results The 5 patients were 16 to 57 years old.The main symptoms were pelvic mass, abdominal pain and irregular vaginal bleeding.All of them underwent surgical treatment,the removed ovarian masses were all enlarged and cystic, with a diameter of 6.0 -16.0 cm.Immunohistochemistry showed that synaptophysin (Syn) and and chromogranin A (CgA) all showed positive expression to varying degrees.Thyroglobulin (Tg) was positive in 4 cases and 1 case was negative.Postoperative pathology directly revealed 2 cases of strumal carcinoid of the ovary and 3 cases of carcinoid complicated with mature teratoma.Conclusion Strumal carcinoid of the ovary is very rare, most patients have no typical symptoms, and carcinoid components are mostly mixed with thyroid tissue in teratoma, which is easy to be missed, with characteristic pathological and immunohistochemical characteristics, and a good prognosis.
