Application effect of health management platform model based on Internet technology in discharged patients with cardiovascular disease |

Abstract Objective To explore the application effect of health management platform model based on Internet technology in discharged patients with cardiovascular disease. Methods A total of 286 discharged patients with cardiovascular disease admitted to the First People′s Hospital of Jiujiang City from September 2019 to September 2020 were selected as the research objects. The patients were divided into the observation group and the control group by random number table method, with 143 cases in each group. The observation group was given the Internet technical support health management method, while the control group was given the routine health management method. The mastery of health knowledge, the fasting blood glucose, total cholesterol, systolic blood pressure, body mass index (BMI) and number of smoking roots per day before and after health management, total incidence of adverse cardiovascular events and re-hospitalization rate during follow-up were compared between the two groups. Results The mastery rate of disease knowledge, risk factors, reasonable diet, regular exercise and compliance with medical medicine in observation group were higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There were no statistically significant differences in BMI, number of smoking roots per day, fasting blood glucose, total cholesterol and systolic blood pressure between the two groups before management (P>0.05). After management, the levels of BMI, fasting blood glucose, total cholesterol and systolic blood pressure in observation group were lower than those in control group, and the daily number of smoking roots was lower than that in control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Within 6 months of follow-up, the total incidence of cardiovascular adverse events and re-hospitalization rate in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The health management platform model supported by Internet technology can significantly improve the mastery of health knowledge of discharged patients with cardiovascular diseases, control risk factors and reduce the occurrence of adverse cardiovascular events, which is worthy of promotion.
