Abstract Amniotic membrane is rich in growth factors and collagen. It has the advantages of accelerating wound healing, reducing wound infection, reducing immune rejection, reducing scar formation and relieving wound pain. Therefore,it can be used for the treatment of various wounds in clinic. At present, common uses of amniotic membrane dressing include the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers, severe burns, oral surgery, and eye injuries. Amniotic membrane dressing has great potential for wound treatment. With the development of medical technology, amniotic membrane and its derivatives will make greater breakthroughs in the field of wound treatment.
