改良闭口式印模法和生物功能性修复系统在低平牙槽嵴下颌总义齿修复中的临床效果研究

Abstract Objective To observe and evaluate the clinical effect of modified closed mouth impression method and biological functional system (BPS) for complete denture in edentulous patients with severe alveolar ridge absorption.Methods From March 2016 to March 2019, a total of 41 edentulous patients with severe mandibular alveolar ridge absorption in Department of Stomatology, Changzhou Second People′s Hospital were selected as research objects and divided into observation group (n=21) and control group (n=20) according to random number table method. The observation group performed complete denture repair using the modified closed mouth impression method, and the control groups performed complete denture repair using the BPS. The subjective satisfaction and masticatory efficiency at 3 and 6 months after repair were compared between the two groups. Results There was no statistically significant difference of subjective satisfaction between the two groups (P＞0.05). At 3 and 6 months after repair, there were no statistically significant differences of masticatory efficiency between the two groups or in the group (P＞0.05). Conclusion Both the modified closed mouth impression method and BPS method can achieve good restoration effect of complete denture.However, the improved closed mouth impression method has easy equipment requirements, lower technical sensitivity and the fewer steps. For patients with severe absorption of mandibular alveolar crest, it has good clinical efficacy and can be used as a conventional printing method for total denture repair.
