首发精神分裂症患者未治疗期与治疗效果的相关性

Abstract Objective To explore the correlation between the untreated period of first episode schizophrenia and the treatment effect. Methods A total of 60 patients with first-episode schizophrenia admitted to Ji An Third People′s Hospital from September 2020 to March 2021 were selected as the research subjects, and the schizophrenia first-onset symptom rating scale (SOS) was used to assess the untreated period (DUP) upon admission, with the median DUP of 24 weeks as the dividing line, and the patients were divided into short DUP group (n=24, Median DUP ≤24 weeks) and long DUP group (n=36, median DUP>24 weeks). The serological indicators, positive and negative syndrome scale(PANSS) scores, and clinical global impression (CGI) scores were compared between the two groups. Results The serum creatine kinase isoenzymes (CK), creatine kinase isoenzymes (CK-MB), and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH-L) levels in the short DUP group on admission were lower than those in the long DUP group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); the CK, CK-MB, and LDH-L in the two groups at discharge were lower than those before treatment, and the CK, CK-MB, and LDH-L in the short DUP group were lower than those in the long DUP group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The PANSS score and the severity of illness (SI) score of the CGI scale in the short DUP group at admission were lower than those in the long DUP group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); the PANSS score and SI score of the CGI scale in the two groups at discharge were lower than those before treatment, and the PANSS score and the SI score, global improvement (GI) score and efficacy index (EI)score of the CGI scale in the short DUP group were lower than those in the long DUP group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Pearson correlation analysis showed that DUP was positively correlated with PANSS score, CGI score, CK, CK-MB, and LDH-L (P<0.05). Conclusion As the untreated period of first-episode schizophrenia is prolonged, its therapeutic effect is significantly reduced. Early treatment should be paid attention to to improve its efficacy, inhibit or delay disease progression, and reduce mental symptoms.
