Abstract Objective To explore the effect of multiple nursing intervention on physical restraint ofintensive care unit(ICU)patients. Methods A total of 88 critically ill patients admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University from July to December 2019 were selected as the research subjects.According to the random number table method, they were divided into the control group (44 cases)and the experimental group (44 cases). The control group received conventional physical restraint nursing, and the experimental group received diversified nursing. The rate of physical restraint and the incidence of delirium were compared between the two groups, and the time of restraint was recorded to investigate patients′satisfaction with nursing. Results The rates of physical restraint and delirium in the experimental group were 45.45% and 4.55%,both lower than those in the control group of(72.73% and 20.45%),and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The constraint time of the experimental group was(80.87±7.23)h,shorter than that of the control group of(158.94±10.26)h,and the nursing satisfaction score was(88.76±5.28)points,which was higher than that of the control group of(80.97±5.26)points,with statistical differences(P<0.05).Conclusion Multiple nursing intervention can reduce the physical constraints of ICU patients, shorten the time of constraints, and promote the improvement of nursing satisfaction.
