Spiritual health status and its influencing factors of patients with ovarian cancer after laparoscopic radical resection |

Abstract Objective To analyze the spiritual health status of patients with ovarian cancer after laparoscopic radical resection and its influencing factors,so as to provide reference for the intervention and improvement of the spiritual health of patients after surgery.Methods A total of 60 patients with ovarian cancer who underwent laparoscopic radical resection in Shangrao Dongxin Fifth Hospital from January 2020 to December 2020 were selected as the research subjects.The patient′s general information and the Chinese version of the Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy Spiritual(FACIT-Sp-12)score,as well as the high-risk factors affecting the spiritual health of patients with ovarian cancer after laparoscopic radical resection were analyzed.Results The average FACIT-Sp-12 score of 60 patients with ovarian cancer after laparoscopic radical resection was(25.90±2.57)points.The spiritual health of 60 patients was divided into the poor spiritual health group (n=38)and the good spiritual health group (n=22)according to whether the FACIT-Sp-12 score was less than 24 points.The proportions of patients in the poor spiritual health group with age≥60 years,junior high school education and below,no religious beliefs,chemotherapy times≥2,and medical expenses payment methods were higher than those in the spiritual health group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Multivariate analysis showed that age≥60 years old,junior high school education level and below,and chemotherapy times≥2 times were influencing factors for poor spiritual health of patients with ovarian cancer after laparoscopic radical resection.Conclusion The spiritual health status of patients with ovarian cancer after laparoscopic radical resection is at a lower-middle level.Among them,age≥60 years old,junior high school education and below,and frequency of chemotherapy≥2 are influencing factors the poor spiritual health of patients with ovarian cancer after laparoscopic radical resection.
