Abstract Objective To investigate the status and gender difference of blood glucose, blood lipid and blood pressure control in diabetic patients in Nanchang city. Methods Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM)before entering the Nanchang single center of Metabolic Management Center(MMC)from June 2018 to December 2019 were selected as subjects.According to the comprehensive control objectives of Chinese T2DM Prevention and Treatment Guidelines(2020 edition),the control standards of blood glucose, blood pressure and blood lipids, knowledge of diabetes and gender differences were evaluated. Results A total of 1501 patients were enrolled, including 855 males(57%)and 646 females(43%).337 cases reached the standard of blood glucose, the rate of reaching the standard was 22.45%.The triglyceride, total cholesterol and low density lipoprotein cholesterol in the blood glucose conforming group were lower than those in the blood glucose conforming group, and the high density lipoprotein cholesterol in the blood glucose conforming group was higher than that in the blood glucose conforming group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between male and female blood glucose compliance rate (P>0.05).The overall awareness rate of diabetes-related knowledge was 29.0%.The awareness rate of diabetes-related knowledge in females was higher than that in males, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The prevalence of hypertension in diabetic patients was 53.1%,and the blood pressure control rate was 16.8%.The prevalence of dyslipidemia was 74.7%,and the rate of lipid control was 33.1%.There were no significant differences in the prevalence and control rate of hypertension and hyperlipidemia between males and females (P>0.05).Conclusion T2DM patients have a low awareness rate of diabetes-related knowledge, and a low compliance rate of blood glucose, lipid and blood pressure control. It is hoped that MMC management can improve the compliance rate of common chronic diseases.
