Abstract Objective To investigate the application effect of Diyu Huaijiao Pills in patients after colorectal polyp surgery under endoscopy. Methods A total of 100 patients who underwent endoscopic polypectomy in the Third People's Hospital of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from July 2020 to June 2021 were selected and divided into control group(50 cases) and observation group(50 cases) by random number table method, the control group received routine care and treatment after operation, and the observation group took Diyu Huaijiao Pills orally on this basis. The postoperative complications, abdominal symptoms, bowel movements and satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05); the postoperative abdominal symptoms in the observation group were lower than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05); the observation group had defecation The situation was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); the satisfaction degree of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Diyu Huaijiao Pills can effectively reduce the incidence of postoperative complications and improve abdominal symptoms in patients with colorectal polyps, and it is worthy of clinical application.
