Abstract Objective To investigate the influence of Leuprorelin on serum insulin-like growth factor 1(IGF-1),vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and sex hormone levels in patients with uterine fibroids.Methods A total of 70 patients with uterine fibroids treated in Huiyang Sanhe Hospital from January 2019 to January 2020 were selected as the research subjects.According to random number table method,they were divided into the observation group(35 cases)and the control group (35 cases).The observation group was treated with Leuprorelin,and the control group was treated with Mifepristone.The levels of hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),IGF-1 and VEGF,the levels of sex hormones(estradiol[E2],progesterone[P],human chorionic gonadotropin[HCG],luteinizing hormone[LH],folliclestimulating hormone [FSH],luteinizing hormone/follicle-stimulating hormone [LH/FSH])and the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups were compared.Results Before treatment,there were no significant differences in the levels of hs-CRP,IGF-1,VEGF between the two groups (P＞0.05).After treatment,the levels of hs-CRP,IGF-1,VEGF in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there were no statistical significance in the levels of E2,P,HCG,LH,FSH,LH/FSH between the two groups (P＞0.05).After treatment,the levels of E2,FSH and P in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the levels of HCG,LH and LH/FSH in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the total incidence of adverse drug reactions in the observation group(5.71%)was lower than that in the control group(28.57%),with statistical significance(P＜0.05).Conclusion Leuprorelin is effective in the treatment of uterine fibroids,which can effectively improve the serum level,stabilize the level of sex hormone,and the drug is safe.It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
