Abstract Objective To explore the application of targeted nursing intervention in the treatment of infertility patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)and insulin resistance by in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer(IVF-ET).Methods A total of 84 cases of PCOS infertility with insulin resistance treated by IVF-ET in Dalian Maternal and Child Health Hospital from February 2019 to February 2020 were selected as the research objects,and they were divided into the study group and the reference group according to random number table method,42 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing intervention during IVF-ET treatment,while the study group was given targeted nursing intervention during this period.Self rating anxiety scale(SAS)and self rating depression scale(SDS)were used to evaluate the psychological changes of patients before and after the intervention.The fertilization success rate,embryo implantation rate and pregnancy rate of the two groups were compared statistically.The nursing satisfaction of the two groups was analyzed by questionnaire.Results Before the intervention,there were no significant differences in the psychological state scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After the intervention,the SAS and SDS scores of the two groups were lower than those before the intervention,the SAS and SDS scores of the study group were lower than those of the reference group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The embryo implantation rate and pregnancy rate of the study group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the success rate of fertilization between the two groups(P>0.05).The nursing total satisfaction of the study group was higher than that of the reference group,and the difference was statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion The application of targeted nursing intervention in PCOS patients with insulin resistance infertility during IVF-ET treatment can improve the emotional state of patients,help to improve the embryo implantation rate and pregnancy rate,improve the pregnancy outcome and enhance nursing satisfaction.
