[Abstract]Objective To analyze the effect preoperative combined use of Western medicine Cisplatin and traditional Chinese medicine Emodin on WIG-1 mRNA of human esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.Methods A total of 120 patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma in Xiangya Ping Mining Cooperation Hospital from January 2019 to August 2020 were selected as the research objects.All patients were treated with Western medicine Cisplatin and traditional Chinese medicine Emodin for three courses.According to the different tissue locations of the lesions taken during the operation,they were divided into observation group and control group.In the observation group,the tumor tissue was taken during the operation,and in the control group the paracancerous tissue at the distance of more than 3 cm from the tumor site was taken during the operation,60 cases in each group.After collecting samples of different lesions,the WIG-1 mRNA expression level was analyzed by real-time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RTPCR)technology.Results The WIG-1 mRNA expression level in tumor tissue of the observation group was(0.79±0.14),which was higher than that(0.06±0.02)of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The WIG-1 mRNA expression level in the tumor tissue of the observation group after operation was(0.24±0.04),which was lower than(0.79±0.14)before operation,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The expression of WIG-1 mRNA is less in non-diseased tissue,and the combination of Western medicine Cisplatin and traditional Chinese medicine Emodin before operation is beneficial to reduce the expression of WIG-1 mRNA in patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma,which can better improve the prognosis of patients,and provide clinical and molecular basis for the treatment of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
