Application effect of lactose free diet supplementary program in children with rotavirus enteritis |

Abstract Objective To explore the application effect of lactose free diet supplementary program in children with rotavirus enteritis.Methods Clinical data of 60 children with rotavirus enteritis admitted to the Department of Pediatrics,Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Haizhu District,Guangzhou from October 2019 to October 2020 were retrospectively analyzed.According to the treatment method,they were divided into control group(30 cases)and experimental group(30 cases).The control group was treated with xiaoxie Sustop granule,and the experimental group was treated with lactose free diet on this basis.Laboratory indexes,total effective rate,clinical related indexes(time to stop diarrhea,time to improve vomiting symptoms,time to recover stool traits)and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,C-reactive protein level and serum white blood cell count in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the experimental group(96.67%)was higher than that of the control group(73.33%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The antidiarrheal time,vomiting symptom improvement time,fever reduction time and stool recovery time of the experimental group were shorter than those of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P <0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group was 3.33%,lower than that in the control group(30.00%),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of lactose free dietary control auxiliary program in children with rotavirus enteritis has significant effect,can improve inflammatory factors and clinical symptoms,and high safety.
