| Effect of Remifentanil combined with Sevoflurane on hemodynamics in elderly patients undergoing bone and joint replacement |

Abstract Objective To investigate the effect of Remifentanil combined with Sevoflurane on hemodynamics in elderly patients undergoing bone and joint replacement.Methods A total of 60 elderly patients undergoing bone and joint replacement in the Department of Anesthesiology,Jiangmen Xinhui District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2019 to September 2020 were selected as the research objects.They were divided into control group(30 cases)and study group(30 cases)by random number table method.The control group was anesthetised with Sufentanil combined with Sevoflurane,and the study group was anesthetised with Remifentanil combined with Sevoflurane.Hemodynamic changes at different time points,time of loss of consciousness,awakening and extubation,Ramsay sedation score,OAA/S score 10 min after surgery and the incidence of adverse reactions between two groups were compared.Results Before operation(T0),there were no significant differences in heart rate(HR)and mean arterial pressure(MAP)between the two groups(P>0.05).The levels of HR and MAP in the study group were lower than those in the control group at the completion of induced anesthesia(T1),the beginning of surgery(T2),5 min before the end of surgery(T3),and 10 min after the end of surgery(T4),the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The time of loss of consciousness,awakening and extubation in the study group was shorter than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Ramsay score in the study group was higher than that in the control group,and OAA/S score 10 min after surgery was lower than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was lower than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Remifentanil combined with Sevoflurane to maintain anesthesia in elderly patients with bone and joint replacement surgery is beneficial to stabilize hemodynamics,and the anesthesia effect is good and relatively safe.
