Clinical application effect of ultrasound-guided precision caudal block in children with inguinal strangulated hernia |

Abstract Objective To explore the clinical application effect of ultrasound-guided precision sacral canal block in children with inguinal strangulated hernia.Methods A total of 60 children with inguinal strangulated hernia admitted to Jiujiang Maternal and Child Health Hospital from February 2019 to August 2020 were selected as the research objects and divided into the control group(30 cases)and the study group(30 cases)according to the random table method.All of the children were treated with inguinal strangulated hernia,and interposed with the anesthesia of Sevoflurane under laryngeal mask ventilation combined with caudal block.The control group was given the traditional caudal block,and the study group was given ultrasound-guided precision caudal block.The puncture status,vital signs,adverse events and complications of the two groups were compared.Results The puncture time of the study group was shorter than that of the control group,the number of punctures was fewer than that of the control group,the first puncture success rate was higher than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After induction of anesthesia and at the end of the operation,there were no significant differences in heart rate and blood pressure between the two groups or within the groups(P>0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in the incidence of adverse events and complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The use of ultrasound-guided precision sacral canal block for pediatric incarcerated hernia has a good anesthesia effect,which can shorten the puncture time,increase the success rate of puncture,reduce the number of punctures,and does not increase the incidence of adverse events and complications,and has high safety.
