Influence of comprehensive nutritional meal and diet management on parturient labor process and delivery outcome |

Abstract Objective To explore the influence of comprehensive nutritional meal and diet management on parturient labor process and delivery outcome.Methods From December 2019 to December 2020, a total of 68 pregnant women who planned to deliver vaginally, admitted to Ganzhou Maternity and Child Health Hospital from December 2019 to December 2020 were selected as the research subjects, and they were divided into the control group (34 cases) and the observation group (34 cases) according to the random number table method.The control group used voluntary diet or no diet, and the observation group used comprehensive nutritional meal and diet.The time of each stage of labor, the amount of bleeding in the 2 h postpartum, the intensity of uterine contractions, and the outcome of delivery were compared between the two groups.Results The total stage of labor and the second stage of labor in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, the amount of bleeding in the 2 h postpartum in the observation group was less than that in the control group, the intensity of uterine contractions in the observation group was stronger than that in the control group, and the smooth delivery rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The incidence of transition to cesarean section due to fatigue of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of diet management during childbirth and delivery process helps to improve the labor process and delivery outcome of the parturient.
