Clinical significance of detection of serum cystatin C and urine renal injury molecule-1 in patients with early renal injury in hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy |

Abstract Objective To explore the clinical detection of serum cystatin C (SCys C) and urine renal injury molecule-1(KIM-1) in patients with early renal injury in hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy. Methods From January to December 2017, 30 cases of patients with early renal injury in hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy admitted to Jiangxi Maternal and Child Health Hospital were selected as the experimental group, 30 cases of patients with hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy during the same period without renal injury were selected as the control group. The urine N-acetylglucosamine (NAG), 24 h urine protein quantification, SCys C, KIM-1 and the incidence of adverse maternal and infant outcomes were compared between the two groups. Results Urine NAG ([8.91±1.24] U/L),24 h urine protein quantification ([272.08±26.88] mg), SCys C ([7.05±1.02] mg/L), KIM-1 ([3.26±0.44] μmol/L) in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group ([1.72±0.35] U/L, [118.13±15.39] mg, [0.86±0.12] mg/L,[0.86±0.13] μmol/L), and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of fetal growth restriction,neonatal asphyxia, neonatal hypoglycemia and respiratory distress in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion SCys C and UKIM-1 levels detection have practical values for the diagnosis of early renal injury in hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy.
