Application of magnetic resonance imaging in the evaluation of pulmonary hypertension |

Abstract Objective To study the value of magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) in the evaluation of pulmonary hypertension (PAH).Methods 60 cases of PAH patients from September 2014 to March 2017 in our hospital were seleted as experimental research object,12 healthy volunteers were seleted as control group.All subjects were performed MRI and right cardiac catheterization examination.The correlation of MRI anatomy and right cardiac catheterization detection indicators were analyzed.Results The Pearson correlation analysis showed that the main pulmonary artery diameter/right across the top plane of the chest diameter (MPA/T),right ventricular anterior wall thickness /right across the top plane of the chest diameter(RVW/T) and pulmonary artery collection was correlated with systolic pressure,average pressure and total pulmonary resistance (P<0.01),the right pulmonary artery diameter (RPA) pressure and mean pressure was correlated with pulmonary artery systolic (P<0.05).Conclusion The anatomic indexes of MPA/T MRI,RVW/T can be used to determine the degree of pulmonary hypertension and quantitative analysis of pulmonary hypertension.
