Abstract Objective To explore the application value of comprehensive nursing intervention in patients undergoing pterygium resection and keratoplasty. Methods A total of 68 patients with pterygium excision and autokeratoplasty treated in Dalian Third People′s Hospital from January to December 2019 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into the reference group and the study group by random number table method,34 cases in each group.Patients in the reference group were treated with routine nursing, and patients in the study group were treated with comprehensive nursing. The corneal epithelial healing time, operation time, complication rate and recurrence rate were compared between the two groups. Results The time of corneal epithelial healing and suture removal in the study group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications(5.88%)and recurrence rate(0.00%)in the study group were lower than those in the control group(23.52%,11.76%),and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the perioperative period of pterygium resection+autologous keratoplasty, comprehensive nursing intervention can shorten the postoperative corneal recovery time, reduce the risk of complications and recurrence, and improve the postoperative recovery effect. It is recommended to promote the use.
