Abstract Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of continuous nursing based on the WeChat platform on the effect of standardized medication after discharge in patients with hypertension.Methods Clinical data of 100 patients with hypertension treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University from January to December 2018 were retrospecctivelaly analyzed and they were divided into the observation group(n=50)and the control group(n=50)depending on the type of care.Patients in the control group were received regular discharge instructions,and those in the observation group were received continuous nursing based on the WeChat platform.the change of the blood pressure level,medication compliance rate,and nursing satisfaction were compared between two groups.Results The blood pressure level of the observation group 6 months after discharge was lower than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The medication compliance rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The nursing total satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The continuous nursing based on the WeChat platform can improve medication compliance rate,effectively control blood pressure level,and improve nursing service satisfaction.Therefore,continuous nursing based on the WeChat platform is worthy of clinical promotion.
