Objective To explore the clinical effect of Suhexiang Pills in treating viral encephalitis.Methods A total of 60 patients with viral encephalitis admitted to the Jiujiang NO.1 People's Hospital from May 2022 to May 2023 were selected as study objects.According to the random number table method,they were divided into control group and research group,with 30 cases in each group.The control group received conventional treatment,and the research group received conventional treatment combined with Suhexiang Pills.The clinical efficacy,the expression level of T lymphocytes in cerebrospinal fluid before and after treatment,the related indexes of cerebrospinal fluid,and the occurrence of adverse reactions during treatment were compared between the two groups.Results The clinical response rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group,the ratio of CD3+,CD4+and CD4+/CD8+were higher than those of the control group,and CD8+,cerebrospinal fluid protein quantity,total cell number and total complication rate were lower than those of the control group,with statistical significances(P＜0.05).Conclusion Suhexiang Pills can improve the clinical efficacy,shorten the time of clinical symptom relief,improve the level of cerebrospinal fluid related indexes and reduce adverse reactions in the treatment of viral encephalitis.
