Abstract Objective To analyze the potential risk factors of cryptogenic ischemic stroke. Methods Fifty inpatients with cryptogenic ischemic stroke from the Department of Neurology of First People's Hospital of Fuzhou from June 2017 to June 2022 were selected as the experimental group, and 50 inpatients with non-ischemic stroke and no previous history of stroke during the same period were selected as the control group. The relationship between general data, blood indexes and cryptogenic ischemic stroke was analyzed by univariate and multifactorial analysis. Results Univariate results showed that age,systolicbloodpressure,bodymassindex(BMI),uricacid(UA),serumcreatinine(SCr),meanplateletvolume(MPV),platelet-larger cell ratio (P-LCR)and red blood cell distribution width (RDW)in experimental group were all higher than those in control group, while total bilirubin(TBil)was lower than that in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Multivariate analysis showed that high UA (β=0.005, OR=1.005,95%CI=1.001-1.009),high SCr (β=0.021, OR=1.021,95%CI=1.005-1.038),high MPV(β=1.818,OR=6.158.95%CI=2.892-13.113),high P-LCR(β=0.685, OR=1.983,95%CI=1.459-2.694),high RDW (β=0.343, OR=1.410,95%CI=1.165-1.705) were independent risk factors for cryptogenic ischemic stroke(P<0.05).High TBil(β=-0.375,OR=0.687,95%CI=0.590-0.802)was an independent protective factor for cryptogenic ischemic stroke (P<0.05).Conclusion UA,SCr,MPV,P-LCR,RDW and TBil are independent influencing factors of cryptogenic ischemic stroke,in which high UA,SCr,MPV,P-LCR and RDW are independent risk factors of cryptogenic ischemic stroke, and high TBil is independent protective factor of cryptogenic ischemic stroke.
