Sepsis is an organ dysfunction caused by a harmful response to host infection,which can seriously endanger the patient's life.Sepsis,as a disease that has plagued human health for decades,has yet to have specific diagnostic or therapeutic indicators.Over the past 10 years,continuous research has increased people's understanding of sepsis,increased clinical doctors'understanding of the disease,and improved the clinical prognosis of sepsis.Sepsis is associated with high mortality rates in intensive care units,accompanied by systemic inflammatory reactions,secondary infections,and multiple organ failure.Sepsis is one of the main causes of death in pediatric intensive care units,and timely and appropriate treatment can improve the prognosis of pediatric sepsis patients.Early diagnosis and assessment of sepsis are crucial.Nutritional inflammatory markers play an important role in the early diagnosis and prediction of sepsis.Therefore,this article reviews the research progress of nutritional inflammation indicators in sepsis,in order to provide theoretical basis for the diagnosis and treatment of sepsis.
