成年男性暴力犯罪人员的人格特征及与社会支持、应对方式的相关性分析

Abstract Objective To explore the relationship between three-dimensional personality characteristics and social support and coping styles of adult male violent criminals. Methods The data of 400 adult male offenders serving sentences in a prison from June 2020 to June 2021 were retrospectively analyzed, and they were divided into the violent group (n=200)and the non-violent group (n=200)according to the type of crime.All the candidates were investigated by Eysenck personality questionnaire (EPQ), social support rating scale (SSRS) and simplified coping style questionnaire(SCSQ).EPQ,SSRS and SCSQ scores were compared between the two groups,and the correlation between three-dimensional personality characteristics and social support and coping style was analyzed. Results The scores of psychoticism (P),neuroticism (N) and lying quality (L) in the violence group were higher than those in the non-violent group, and the introversion (E) score was lower than that in the non-violent group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The negative coping score of the group was higher than that of the non-violent group, and the positive coping score and SSRS score were lower than the non-violent group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis found that P, N, L factors and positive coping SSRS was negatively correlated (r＜0, P＜0.05). P, N, L factors were positively correlated with negative coping (r＞0, P＜0.05). E was positively correlated with positive coping, SSRS (r＞0, P<0.05), E was negatively correlated with negative coping (r<0, P<0.05). Conclusion The personality characteristics of adult male violent criminals are mainly psychoticism, neuroticism and cover-up, and their coping styles tend to be negative and lack social support. The society should pay attention to such people to reduce the occuwence of violent incidents.
