Abstract Objective To investigate the application effect of Self-Made Sanhuang Powder combined with moisture exposed burn ointment in patients with severe stage Ⅲ-Ⅳpressure ulcer.Methods A total of 60 patients with severe stage Ⅲ-Ⅳpressure ulcer treated in Jingdezhen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2020 to June 2021 were selected as the research objects.They were randomly divided into the control group (30 cases) and the study group (30 cases)according to random number table method.The control group was treated with moisture exposed burn ointment,and the study group was treated with self-made Sanhuang Powder combined with moisture exposed burn ointment.The treatment time of both groups was 1 month.The sore surface reduction rate,wound surface healing time,pain degree,inflammatory index level and treatment efficiency were compared between the two groups.Results The reduction rate of the sore surface in the study group was higher than that in the control group,and the healing time of the sore surface in the study group was shorter than that in the control group,the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).The pain degree of patients in the study group was less than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).There were no significant differences in the levels of serum interleukin-6 (IL-6),interleukin-8 (IL-8) and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)between the two groups before treatment(P＞0.05).After treatment,the levels of IL-6,IL-8 and hs-CRP in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the levels of IL-6,IL-8 and hs-CRP in the study group were lower than those in the control group,with statistically significant differences(P＜0.05).The total effective rate of patients in the study group was higher than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion The treatment of patients with severe stage Ⅲ-Ⅳpressure ulcers with self-made Sanhuang Powder combined with moisture exposed burn ointment can improve the degree of pressure ulcers,adjust the degree of pain and inflammatory indicators,promote the recovery of the sore surface,and improve the treatment effect of patients.It has obvious clinical value.
