| Analysis of the improving effect of predictive nursing on urinary retention of parturient |

Abstract Objective To explore the improvement effect of predictive nursing on urinary dysfunction of parturients with urinary retention.Methods The clinical data of 60 parturients with urinary retention who were admitted to Maternity and Child Health Hospital of Maoming City,Guangdong Province from January 2020 to March 2021 were analyzed retrospectively.They were divided into the study group(31 cases)and the control group(29 cases)according to the difference of nursing style.The study group received predictive nursing,while the control group received routine nursing.The Hamilton anxiety scale (HAMA),Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI),Hamilton depression scale (HAMD),abdominal visual analogue scale (VAS) scores before and after intervention,the first urination time,urination volume,hospital stay and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results There were no statistically significant differences in HAMD,HAMA,PSQI and VAS scores between the two groups before the intervention (P＞0.05).After the intervention,the HAMD,HAMA,PSQI and VAS scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).The first urination time and hospital stay of the study group were shorter than those of the control group,and the volume of urination of the study group was more than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total satisfaction of the study group was 93.55%(29/31),which was higher than 72.41% (21/29) of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion Predictive nursing for patients with postpartum urinary retention can effectively reduce abdominal pain and negative emotions,shorten the time of urination and hospitalization,and improve patient satisfaction.It has a positive effect on improving the quality of hospital medical services and is worthy of clinical application.
