Objective To explore the effect of meridian flow combined with giant needling on the recovery of lower limb function in patients with ischemic stroke and hemiplegia.Methods A total of 78 patients with ischemic stroke and hemiplegia admitted to Shenzhen Luohu District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to may 2021 were randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 39 patients in each group.The control group was intervened with giant needling,routine rehabilitation training and routine nursing for 30 days.On the basis of routine rehabilitation training and routine nursing,the observation group was intervened with giant needling under the guidance of meridian flow for 30 days.The Fugl-Meyer lower limb motor function score(FMA),modified Barthel Index(MBI)and modified Ashworth scale spasticity were compared between the two groups before and after intervention.Results The FMA score and MBI index of the two groups 30 days after intervention were higher than those before intervention,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).30 days after intervention,the FMA score and MBI index of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the spasm grading of Ashworth scale was better than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Meridian flow giant needling can improve the recovery of lower limb function,self-care ability of daily life and alleviate muscle spasm in patients with ischemic stroke and hemiplegia.The effect is better than that of simple giant needling.
