Application effect of one disease one product combined with precise nursing model in improving nursing of patients with stoma after rectal cancer surgery |

Abstract Objective To explore the application of one disease one product combined with precise nursing model in improving nursing of patients with stoma after rectal cancer surgery. Methods A total of 82 patients with stoma after rectal cancer surgery who were admitted to General Hospital of Pingxiang Mining Group Co., Ltd. from October 2020 to December 2021 were selected. They were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 41 patients in each group. The control group received routine nursing intervention, and the observation group received one disease one product combined with precise nursing model of intervention. The incidence of complications, the discoloration, erosion and tissue overgrowth (DET) score, the MOS 36-item short form health survey (SF-36) score and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of complications and DET score in observation group were lower than those in control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). After intervention, the scores of physiological function (PF), role physical (RP), body pain (BP), general health (GH), vitality (VT), social function (SF), role emotional (RE), and mental health (MH) in the SF-36 of observation group were higher than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction scores of nursing skills, nursing attitude, humanistic care, ward environment and health guidance in observation group were higher than those in control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Conclusion The one disease one product combined with precise nursing model can reduce complications in patients with stoma after rectal cancer surgery, improve quality of life and nursing satisfaction of the patients.
