Abstract Objective To explore the effect of different nursing methods in the waiting period on preoperative anxiety of patients with gynecological benign tumors underwent single hole laparoscopic surgery. Methods A total of 150 patients with gynecological benign tumors who underwent single hole laparoscopic surgery in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Second People's Hospital of Jingdezhen from April to December 2020 were selected as the intervention objects. According to the random number table method, they were divided into repose group (50 cases), music intervention group (50 cases) and cognitive intervention group (50 cases). The repose group lied in the hospital bed during the waiting period for surgery, the music intervention group used music intervention during the waiting period of operation, and the cognitive intervention group carried out cognitive nursing intervention. The anxiety level, heart rate and blood pressure of the three groups were compared. Results After intervention, the visual analogue scale for anxiety (VASA) scores of cognitive intervention group and music intervention group were lower than those of repose group, the VASA score of cognitive intervention group was lower than that of music intervention group, the blood pressure (diastolic blood pressure, systolic blood pressure) and heart rate of cognitive intervention group and music intervention group were lower than those of repose group, the blood pressure and heart rate of cognitive intervention group were lower than those of music intervention group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion For patients with gynecological benign tumors undergoing single hole laparoscopic surgery, cognitive and music intervention in their waiting period can better improve their preoperative anxiety than reposing, and the effect of reducing heart rate and blood pressure is better. Compared with music intervention, cognitive intervention has better effect.
